Here you can see
one of the practice kitchens. Here the students can get a feeling of what it´s like
working in a restaurant kitchen. Cook menus for different occasions and for
people with special needs, all on time pressure.
Malin , time pressure in a commercial kitchen is very important. How do you teach your students to cope with this time pressure. You have wonderful facilities and I am sure your students learn well in this environment. Do you find this to be true?
Malin Hi! It looks like a large and spacious kitchen method. How the classes are divided, so to procced in terms of age? How big are the classes? And how many classes the school while in the restaurant and food service?
This part of the school is for adult educations, many students apply and then they do´nt attend to the classes. It´s about ten to fifthen students in each class. The school also have educations for SFI-students (Svenska för invandrare) in cooking-knowledge. During my practicum i hade the opportunity to attend to these classes and it was so much fun, i enjoyed it.

DeleteMalin it must have been fun. Why do students enrol and then not come to the classes?
