Working with Theme of a famous
person.
Each student work with a
theme, the theme is based on a big artist or a famous person. In this case the
student worked with “Tupac” a really famous rap artist. The student had to try
to get know what he liked to eat and drink and then put together a menu. After
that the student had to present a dinner table after the theme and menu. The
only things about the menu that I can remember today is that it included a lot
of meat and fried stuff, then of course whiskey and “cigars”, (anyhow some kind
of smoke supplement).

ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to learn how to search for information, doing it on a famous person, someone you admire. And then evaluate your one work by setting up a table and make a menu. I hope the students thought this was a god way of learning.
Yes most of the students took the task really seriously. Other famous persons that i got the chance to enjoy, was Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and more. This teatcher was really greative, like the students.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very creative approach Petra. You got your students to research the food types and then match them to the customer.The table looks just fantastic and just right for a rap singer.Can I pass this idea on to some teachers I know in Australia? I am sure they would be very inteersted.
