This is a large conference or dining area that has been restored in the beautiful old building on the school grounds. The space here is being used for a large meeting. It can be changed and made into a formal dining space where the students learn how to decorate a room for a special function. They also prepare food and beverages and serve the customers who come to this restaurant.
'Kasala' is the name given to the old building which will house the training restaurant. Students doing hospitality will be involved in cooking and serving for the restaurant. This concept is similar to restaurants attached to our TAFE (Technical and Further Education) campuses, which are predominately set up for adult education.
