This is the upper secondary school Ester Moseson.
The school is located on lindholmen in Gothenburg.
It has 3-year vocational educations.
I did my internship at the restaurant and food program, and were mainly with students who passed their final semester.
During the last semester, students have a relatively long practice, they now have the opportunity to gain contacts for future employment.
Once students have completed their training they shall be employable.

  1. Pernilla I think i have passed the school during one of my visits to Gothenburg. In Australia most of our stduents do a workplacement if they are in school, for one day a week. If they are in a Vocational Coillege they may be in College for one day a week and in a workplace for four days a week. It is a great opportunity to mix theory and practice. Do you find this in Sweden?

  2. Yes, we have also in Sweden, we call it the workplace-based learning. I also think that this way of learning about is good, espacially if the students is school tired.
